As preschool education becomes more common in Singapore, it’s important to understand how it impacts young children. The Singapore Kindergarten Impact Project focuses on how teachers interact with children and how that affects the quality of their learning experiences. We want to see how these interactions and other factors like home background affect children’s development and school readiness. Specifically, we will be looking at how these factors impact children’s math, language, cognitive, and socio-emotional skills over the course of preschool.
